In addition to providing traditional home health and hospice care for patients, we use complementary and alternative services to enhance our patients care.  Unlike larger providers in Utah, Abundant Life has the skills and flexibility to combine and expanded new sets of services with traditional home health and hospice care, to create a customized program of compassionate care for each patient.

Nothing is more important to a person than their health and the health of their loved ones. This is why at Abundant Life we create an experience our staff, patients, and their families can enjoy.

How we care for you

The first thing Abundant Life does to ensure the best service for our patients is develop and prepare our employees. This is because our nurses and other care providers can only do a great job if they have the training and ability to focus on their patients. To learn more about how we select our staff click here.

Our employees begin their day with a team meeting where they go over the schedule, receive training, and end the meeting on a inspirational thought, quote, or experience. This ensures that our employees are organized and have a caring attitude each day.

Each nurse is assigned a patient. This process is not just a random assignment. We try to match the right nurse for the right patient. As our educators visit with new patients they get to know them, after which the best nurse can be recommended and assigned to that patient.

Our nurses and other staff schedule with each patient the best time for visits in order to ensure the service is convenient and timely. The number of visits and the services provided depends on each patient’s needs and preferences. The same nurse and support staff visit the same patient each time, unless a visit is needed outside normal hours. This continuity improves the nurse’s ability to recognize health signs and develop a relationship of trust and love.

Taking care a step further

In addition to traditional home health and hospice services Abundant Life has pioneered the use of complementary therapies. These therapies allow us to elevate the health, wellness, and quality of life of the patients and families we serve, thus leaving them more satisfied with the overall home health and hospice experience. This also allows the patient to choose which services they need and have control over their health care. Even though most of these additional services are not reimbursed by medical insurance, Abundant Life provides these services at no extra cost to the patients.
