Our staff is important to us.
The first thing Abundant Life does to ensure the best service for our patients is develop and prepare our employees. This is because our nurses and other care providers can only do a great job if they have the training, ability, and drive needed to care for their patients. Abundant Life puts time and effort into finding and developing the best caregivers. We do not focus on experience alone, but look for those who fit our culture of passion and self-improvement.

How we select our staff:
- After receiving resumes we carefully review them for those who have the skills, experience, and behavioral characteristics that best fit the position we are filling.
- An interview is conducted with the candidates who most appear to have the behavioral characteristics, along with the skills, experience, and education required. Another round of interviews are then conducted by the owners of Abundant Life looking for the same criteria.
- Once the best applicant is identified they go through a background check and drug screening to ensure they qualify.
- All of Abundant Life's employees are licensed, insured, and bonded. Each staff member is also given a policy and procedures manual. Training on this manual is provided so all employees can make the best choices from day one.
How we develop and prepare our employees:
- Our employees begin their day with a team meeting where they go over the schedule, receive training, and end with an inspirational thought, quote, or experience. This ensures that our employees are organized and have a caring attitude each day.
- In addition to starting the day right, each employee has long term goals to become the best caregiver possible. Abundant Life continually reviews these goals with each employee and provides additional training, coaching, and mentoring needed for their success.
- Abundant Life believes that employee's provide the best care when they develop more than professional skills. Individual development in such areas as mental, social, physical, spiritual, and emotional skills translates directly to one's ability to care for others. In order to encourage individual development Abundant Life provides support or training in matters from financial planning to exercise or health programs.
